Havent quite understand: when you become a spirit, is it correct that youre always been pulled up, even when youre in a mine? Also: when you become a spirit, your foot is gone somewhere

I love this game its gameplay is so smooth

Just needs a better weapons control scheme, and an update to fix the bugs. Having said that, this game is super addictive! I have been playing quite a bit of it lately!

Little bit funnyntomget used to the controls, but def worth it. Great game, fun, funny, awesome ambient ost, great progression, cool story. I dig.

Not like metroid at all but pretty decent kind of like junk jack

So far the game has been fun. Reminds me of games like Metroid and Gargoyles Quest from way back but with contemporary graphics. Why I havent given it a five star rating is due to a little glitchyness in the handling and music. Im still getting used to aiming the guns as its a different system than I can remember from any past game Ive played but feel confident Ill get it dialed. A great game for its class and worth the money.

Aggressively boring, aggressively tedious. Akin to making a hungry child sift through a sandbox with a toothpick looking for 5 gummy bears hidden therein. The controls have only a fleeting relationship with the players intentions. Graphics are nice when not lagging, music is ambient when not cutting out, but a pretty dress cant make an embalmed corpse any more lively.

Im enjoying this game very much. Its a nice blend of dungeon crawling with crafting elements. Controls take a little getting used to. Overall its been a positive experience.

Ive been playing this game on and off for a while now, its really a great game. The graphics are good, the monsters just difficult enough for most, but the one thing that I think it needs is a map. Its always the same thing, I have a ton of cobalt for my next pick axe, but I cant find the portal. I search around for a while until in final run out of fuel and loss all my loot! The map doesnt need to be very descriptive, just shows the general layout of your surroundings and a waypoint for your portals. I believe that would make this game an easy five stars for anyone who likes mining games.

This is a fun game. A lot like Terraria with a sci-fi taste! Hope to see better improvement with the controls.

If you can tolerate a lot of bugs in a game for amazing aesthetic and immersive gameplay, than Mines of Mars is well worth the $5. It has probably some of the best atmosphere of any iOS game, due to an amazing musical score and gorgeous scenery. The ability to upgrade everything you have is very satisfying too. That being said, the game has a lot of bugs. I havent run into anything game-breaking on my iPhone 5, iOS 8.4, but they definitely manage to tear me out of the world. Things like text overlapping, odd graphical glitches, or dialogue not triggering when it is supposed to can ruin the game for some people. I keep coming back to the game, but the glitches and bugs really do hinder what could be an amazing game.

I wont review the merits. Halfway through the game, a boss doesnt behave like it should and reset its position to ram into some spikes. Problem is thats the intended way to beat it, and its immune to weapon damage. Will not reset or restart, I wish I could ask for a refund.

Not sure if it is worth the $5 I paid just yet. But Im playing and I like it. Ill update my review as I play more.
